August 2021.

How to submit abstracts

All abstracts are submitted online through myERS, allowing authors to review, edit and submit abstracts from one easy to access platform.

If you already have a myERS account, you can sign in and start the submission process right away. Navigate to 'Abstracts/Cases', then 'Congress' and then 'Access Abstracts Platform' to get started.

If you do not have a myERS account you can create an account for free. ERS membership is not required.

The recommended web browsers for accessing the submission platform are Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Authors who plan to apply for grants and sponsorship after abstracts have been accepted must ensure that they are listed as the corresponding author of the abstract, as this information will be sent to corresponding authors only.

Review and programme allocation

All abstracts that are submitted for congress are peer-reviewed for quality and suitability for the congress programme.

If accepted, the International Congress Programme Committee will allocate successful abstracts to a variety of session types, including:

  • Oral presentations
  • ePoster sessions
  • Clinical trial sessions
