Professional development workshops aim to provide participants with practical tips and guidelines on non-scientific topics such as ethics, communication, education principles and teamwork. Leading specialists in the field will provide a step-by-step guide on how participants can use new skills and knowledge and apply them in a practical setting.
The maximum number of participants is 50 per session. Please find the programme below.
NEW: The session "Spirometry training programme: become a programme organiser" is now divided in two parts. Participants who wish to be certified as a spirometry trainer have to attend the morning session entitled "Teaching, learning and assessments: key principles", and the afternoon session dedicated to spirometry.
In addition to the dedicated workshops, professional development topics will also be covered as part of a number of other scientific sessions such as delivering bad news, supporting patients with behavior change strategies, providing effective feedback and much more.
Registration for these courses is additional to the congress registration fee.
